A little bit about Dawn . . .

Dawn Ransdell

I am a person-centered counselor who utilizes a variety of therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of each client.

My work spans across different age groups, including adults, couples, children, teens, and families. I specialize in creating a safe, supportive environment where clients can explore their thoughts and emotions, fostering growth, healing, and positive change.

In my practice, I often integrate play therapy for children, which helps young clients express themselves and process experiences in a developmentally appropriate way. With couples and families, I focus on strengthening communication, building connections, and resolving conflicts to promote healthier relationships. For individual clients, I tailor interventions to address a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, trauma and many others, always emphasizing empathy, collaboration, and respect for the client’s journey.

Outside of counseling, I enjoy staying active and engaged in various pursuits. Reading, tackling house projects, kayaking, and playing games are some of my favorite ways to spend time. I find fulfillment in connecting with people, offering support and encouragement, and contributing through physical projects and hands-on efforts to help others.

My passion lies in building meaningful connections, empowering clients to navigate life’s challenges, and fostering resilience and well-being.
