Kelly is dual certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She has completed graduate and post-graduate study in individual and family therapies, psychopharmacology, and psychological assessment and evaluation. Kelly offers professional services to individuals, couples, and families experiencing emotional and behavioral problems, anxiety, difficulty adjusting to life circumstances, medical problems or diagnoses, traumatic experiences, a divorce, substance abuse,
and issues involving death and dying.
Kelly believes in two important fundamental concepts. The first, the therapeutic relationship is essential and collaboration between the patient and the mental health provider produces the best clinical outcomes; and the second, the mind and body are connected. Not caring for one causes the other to suffer. Kelly collaborates with other psychological and psychiatric professionals as well as other disciplines including Dr. Pamela Davis at Pleasant Hill Medical Clinic.
In her personal life, she enjoys photography, classical music, performance art, reading, campfires, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
