"I have a passion for helping people navigate through developmental milestones and assisting with their personal growth and goals."

Hi, my name is MacKenzie Murphree, and I appreciate you taking the time to learn more about me. I hope I can be a great fit for you here at Country Crossroads Counseling.

I am a recent graduate with a Master's in Community Counseling from Missouri Valley College, having completed my degree in August 2024 and moving from an intern here at CCC to working full-time for them. I have absolutely loved and cherished this transition within this family!

Since then, I’ve become a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) and have significantly expanded my caseload. I primarily work with adults and children aged 12 and older, and I am passionate about helping individuals navigate through personal challenges, build self-confidence, and achieve their goals. My therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Adlerian Therapy with a strong focus on Person-Centered and Solution-Focused Therapy.

I have a deep passion for working in rural areas, as I believe these communities deserve equal access to services like therapy. I strive to provide accessible mental health support while emphasizing solutions, maintaining attainable goals, promoting positive self-talk, and supporting emotional regulation.

In my personal life, I balance my time between work, continuing professional development, and spending quality time with friends and family. In my downtime, I enjoy reading, catching up on my favorite shows, and cuddling with my sweet cat, Yuki.
