I'm a local girl with many connections to Johnson County. I love our community and the lifestyle that the country brings.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology Degree and continued to get my Masters Degree in Counseling in 2017, both from the University of Central Missouri. My experience in this field ranges from medical research to working as an Applied Behavior Analyst, before becoming a school counselor in 2013. In 2020, I obtained my LPC certification.

I truly believe that everyone has a story and sometimes people just need for that story to be heard. Counseling offers a safe environment with warm, non-judgmental, caring individuals to listen to your story. We teach strategies to help you cope with everyday stress and help you find techniques to face the challenges that are holding you back from the lifestyle you desire.

My theoretical approach is primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy. I do also strongly believe in Gestalt therapy and the Humanistic Theories which emphasizes clients being in the moment and achieving their highest potential.

In my personal life, I am a wife and mother. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I can normally be found at some type of sporting event. In my spare time I enjoy going to the lake, reading, and being outdoors on our family farm.
