A little bit about Peggy Giokaris . . .

Hi, I'm Peggy and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (State of Missouri).

For over 25 years, I have worked as an Outreach Coordinator for a battered women's shelter, was a presenter in schools and the community explaining our services and educating leaders to issues of domestic violence. 

I spent over 5 years working with families with Severely emotionally disturbed children in the community and home. 

My favorite job was doing on site mental health evaluations in hospitals and other placements. 

Currently as a clinical counselor with Country Crossroads Counseling, I work with Individuals of all ages, Families, Couples, Teens and Children. 

I look forward to assisting with groups in the future and returning to work in schools. My partner David and I have been together for 12 years. We live on small acreage and have too many pets. Together we have 3 grown children and one red headed grandson age 2.​
