Hi, I'm Sabrina Rentschler, a Licensed Professional Counselor! Thank you for taking the time to read a little bit about me and deciding what is best for your therapeutic needs. I know that it can be scary to take the next step, but we are so happy that you are here.
I graduated from Missouri Valley College in 2015 with my Bachelor of Science in Psychology and started my master’s that same year and in 2017 completed my Master of Arts in Community Counseling in 2017. I completed a year internship and then started my first job as a therapist and have gained numerous experiences over the last 5 years in working with a variety of populations and implementing different evidenced based practices. I feel comfortable providing several different therapy approaches with many different individuals but I utilize a lot of cognitive behavioral therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy.
I have a strong passion for working with children, adolescents, college students and young adults. I am always continuing to educate myself and learn the newest skills that can benefit my clients the most as well. Mental health and supporting others are a big part of my life and I hope here at Country Crossroads that one of us can help you to take that next step.
In my personal life I enjoy being active and spending time with my two fur babies and family and friends. I am a big outdoors person, and you can often find me running or playing catch with my dogs. I also enjoy a reading a new book and watching movies.
